Aisha Tyler Gifts TV Co-Hosts Engraved Bracelets As Farewell Presents
Actress Aisha Tyler bid an emotional farewell to her co-hosts on U.S. daytime show The Talk by gifting them with personalized bracelets.
The Archer star announced her plans to exit the series in June to pursue her directing ambitions, and on Friday, she sat alongside fellow personalities Sharon Osbourne, actress Sara Gilbert, comedienne Sheryl Underwood, and former newswoman Julie Chen for her final episode as co-presenter.
At the top of the show, Julie revealed Aisha Tyler had given a special parting present to each of her The Talk pals, a gold bracelet engraved with the phrase, “F**k with one of us, you f**k with all of us”, to signify their lifelong friendships.
“She was quoting the famous British philosopher…” Julie began, before a smiling Aisha chimed in, “The great 20th century poet, Sharon Osbourne!”
Laughing at the reference, Aisha Tyler then explained, “I probably couldn’t have persuaded you all to get matching tattoos, so this was the next best thing, just something that like, when I wear it, I’ll think of how much love and support I’ve felt at this table for all these years.”
“The treasure of this show is my friendships with you guys, and that is something I could never have expected when I walked in the door here…,” she said. “I never imagined in a million years that it would be this magical of a place. The thing I’ll take with me from this show is how all of you made me, every day, want to be a better woman, and a better friend, and a better person…”
“You four made me brave…,” she concluded, joking, “You only have yourselves to blame for me leaving this show!”
