Jay Z Returning To Headline Made In America Festival
Rapper Jay Z is returning to headline his Made In America festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in September 2017. The 99 Problems hit maker was one of the top attractions at the first annual event in 2012, and on Monday, it was revealed he will head back to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to lead the festivities once more.
He will be joined by co-headliners J. Cole and The Chainsmokers and sister-in-law Solange. Other artists on this year’s bill include 21 Savage, DJ Mustard, Sampha, Marian Hill, Wizkid, Pusha T, DMX, Migos, Francis and the Lights and Vic Mensa.
The sixth annual Made In America festival will take place on 2 and 3 September 2017. This year’s event will benefit the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Rihanna and Coldplay headlined the music event last year 2016.
The Budweiser-sponsored festival was launched by Jay Z in 2012 and is held in Philadelphia every year (it previously was also simultaneously held in Los Angeles).
Made in America tickets will go on sale at 2pm EST Monday for Tidal subscribers. Check out the festival’s site for general on-sale information.
