Carrie Fisher Has Alleged Donald Trump’s Sniffles Are ‘Absolutely’ Due To Cocaine Use
Carrie Fisher has alleged Donald Trump is a cocaine user due to his persistent sniffing during the presidential debates. The Star Wars actress says she has no doubt that Donald Trump’s infamous, recurring sniffling is not the by-product of a lingering cold.
While live-tweeting the second US presidential debate on October 9, the 59-year-old star addressed a fan’s eager question: “Tell me something about that sniffle…coke head or no?”
“I’m an expert,” Carrie promptly replied. “& ABSOLUTELY.”
The now-sober actress has been open about her own past drug use and has undergone multiple stints in rehab.
“We did cocaine on the set of [The] Empire [Strikes Back], in the ice planet,” she told the Associated Press in 2010. “I didn’t even like coke that much. It was just a case of getting on whatever train I needed to take to get high.”
While Trump, 70, has said that he does not drink alcohol or do drugs, Carrie is not the first notable figure to question his unusual nose noises.
“Notice Trump sniffing all the time,” Howard Dean, former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, tweeted after the first debate. “Coke user?”
“Here’s the interesting constellation,” Howard elaborated on MSNBC. “So, he sniffs during the presentation, which is something that users do. He also has grandiosity, which is something that accompanies that problem. He has delusions… He has trouble with pressured speech…
“So, look, do I think at 70 years old he has a cocaine habit?” he added. “Probably not. But, you know, it’s something that — I think it would be interesting to ask him and see if he ever had a problem with that.”
Trump has yet to comment on the allegations.
