Jennifer Lopez Breaks Britney’s Las Vegas Residency Record
Jennifer Lopez has beat Britney Spears‘s Las Vegas residency record by making $1 million in box office sales in one-night. The Latin superstar is currently headlining her All I Have show at the Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, and she hit a milestone on Saturday by earning over $1 million in ticket revenue, becoming the first performer at the Caesars Entertainment property to hit the magic number in one night, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper. According to the same source, singer Marc Anthony and his new wife, Shannon De Lima, attended his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez’s resident headliner show All I Have at Axis at Planet Hollywood last weekend to help her celebrate its record-breaking night.
The star took over the top spot from Spears, who also stages her Piece of Me show at Planet Hollywood.
Lopez kicked off her residency in January 2016, and will return to the stage in December 2016. Meanwhile, Spears recently kicked off the latest leg of Piece of Me, wrapping the run in September 2016. Her residency is scheduled to come to an end in February 2017.
