Southern belle Olivia Holt, born in Tennessee and raised in Mississippi, stars as the high-spirited and ambitious best friend ‘Lindy Watson’ in the Disney Channel comedy, I Didn’t Do It. Previously, Holt starred as the confident, butt-kicking, independent karate expert ‘Kim’ on the hit Disney XD series Kickin’ It and as fearless monster hunter Skylar Lewis, in the Disney Channel Original Movie Girl vs. Monster. Holt will make her film debut in the Paramount feature Same Kind of Different as Me, opposite Renée Zellweger and Greg Kinnear, due out Spring 2016.
Prior to signing to Hollywood Records, Holt performed three of the hit singles on the Girl vs. Monster soundtrack: “Nothing’s Going to Stop Me,” “Fearless,” and “Had Me at Hello.” “Fearless” and “Had Me at Hello” quickly became fan favorites and climbed the charts, with “Had Me at Hello” reaching #1 and charting for nineteen consecutive weeks on Radio Disney’s ‘Top 30’ countdown. Holt was the recipient of a 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA) Ardy for “XOXO: Best Crush Song.” Holt sang the theme song of DisneyNature’s film BEARS in 2015. She is currently working on her debut album, which will be released sometime in 2016.
